It’s been a while since I’ve talked about new makeup, and partly, it’s because I’ve been really happy with everything I’ve been using for the past few months! That being said, I’ve been doing a lot of research on cruelty-free beauty products, and surprisingly, Amazon has a generous selection of products!
I’ve mentioned this brand before on my blog, but it’s one of my all-time favorite vegan skincare companies and I absolutely couldn’t leave them out. ArtNaturals isn’t so much a makeup brand, but they have a wide selection of hair and skin products, like shampoo, skin serums, and even some yummy-looking chapstick (please don’t eat the chapstick). In the past, I’ve used their Vitamin C skin serum, and it brightened/moisturized my skin so much, I hardly ever needed to use a facial primer with it. Considering their products are so high-quality and natural, they’re actually quite affordable for my price range. They also have a lot of coupons available on Amazon right now, so if you’re looking for some new skin/hair care products, pop over and give them a try!
If you’re looking for cheap, high-quality, and cruelty-free eyeshadow palettes, Lamora Beauty and Jacob & Eli have fantastic reviews on all of their products. The former, Lamora Beauty, actually has 100% positive reviews for the last twelve months, according to Amazon. Both Lamora Beauty and Jacob & Eli have thousands upon thousands of positive reviews, with many praising the color payoff, quality, and of course, the affordable price. According to the descriptions, these eyeshadow palettes are so waterproof- something I’ll definitely utilize during the sweltering summer months. Just like ArtNaturals, Jacob & Eli also has some moisturizers and skin serums on their page, and they’re created with high-quality, natural ingredients, like jojoba oil and organic aloe. I’ll hopefully do a review of these brands in the near future, so if that’s something you’d like to see, let me know!
Something I have tried and absolutely loved in the past is this latex free, vegan makeup sponge by Aesthetica Cosmetics. I’ve found that I tend to go through makeup sponges quite quickly, but this sponge actually lasted me about 4-5 months before I had to replace it. I appreciate that this brand takes allergies and sensitive skin into consideration- if you’ve been keeping up with my blog, you know that everything from sunlight to body wash can make me break out in an itchy rash. Like any beauty sponge, it can be used both wet and dry, but I always apply my foundation and concealer with a damp sponge. The sponge made my foundation look absolutely airbrushed, so I’ll have to order myself another one in the near future.
Anywho, those are the products that have been catching my eye lately. It’s difficult to find authentic cruelty free/vegan makeup online, because it’s so easy for brands to lie, but I promise these brands are the real deal. These products are all made in the USA, and as far as I’m concerned, they’re all vegan on top of being cruelty-free as well. Let me know what your favorite Amazon products are, and maybe I’ll review them in the near future!
