My Favorite Lipsticks for Autumn

Three things I absolutely love are autumn, lipstick, and warm colors. In this case, I love all three of them together! These are all of the lipsticks I’ve been picking up the most this season, along with what makeup looks/outfits I pair with them. I’ll also include the brand and the price, in case you’re interested in picking up a tube yourself! Just to disclaim, I’m not affiliated with any of these brands. These are genuinely just lipsticks I love that I hope you will love too!

Lime Crime | “Sparrow” | $20

Some of you are probably sick of me talking about this lipstick, but you have to understand, it’s basically my signature at this point. I LOVE this lipstick. Not only is the Lime Crime formula so smooth and buttery, the color payoff is also amazing and extremely bright. I love to wear warm-toned eye looks that incorporate a lot of reds and oranges, so this blood orange shade is usually my go-to. It’s also surprisingly easy to take off, which is not something you usually get from a liquid lipstick. Overall, this is my #1 choice for lipstick on the daily, and I think this color would look great on every skin tone.

Sugarpill | “Girl Crush” | $18

This fuschia pink lipstick might look bright in the tube, but it’s actually very flattering on the lips. Again, I think this is a very universally flattering color. I love to pair this lipstick with pink-toned eyeshadow looks, but it looks good just on its own as well. Sugarpill is such an underrated brand, in my opinion, and their liquid lipsticks perform beautifully for such a fair price. If you’re looking for a cool-toned pink to brighten up your fall closet, “Girl Crush” is the lipstick for you. You can even shop it on the Ulta website, which is very convenient for me!

LAWLESS | “Dame” | $25

It wouldn’t be fall without a classic, vampy plum lip. I picked up this liquid lipstick at a Sephora over the summer, and it’s been my favorite purple shade ever since. I also love that LAWLESS is an extremely ethical, clean brand, because that’s something I really take into consideration when shopping for makeup. This lipstick looks beautiful paired with a smokey eye, but you could also use it to counteract a sultry green-toned eye look. Which look do you guys prefer?

Jeffree Star Cosmetics | “Redrum” | $18

If you’re looking for a classic red lipstick, look no further than Jeffree Star Cosmetics. His brand regularly delivers high-quality, long-lasting colors, and “Redrum” is no exception. Not only is this  a perfect color for fall, it can also transfer smoothly into the holiday season as well. While the retail price of this lipstick is $18, I actually got this one in a mini size as part of the Equality Bundle. Needless to say, I’ve used up the tube pretty quickly, so it’s almost time for me to order another larger size. Maybe I should pick one up when I buy the Jeffree X Shane palette in 2020? 😉

bareMinerals | “Bo$$” | $19

I’ve had this lipstick for as long as I can remember, and it’s amazing I haven’t used up the entire thing (considering I only own a travel size)! This lipstick is a perfect neutral-toned nude lip cream, and it looks great with both warm-toned and cool-toned eye looks. It also smells really good, like chocolate and strawberries. I like to pop on this color when I’m going for a more natural makeup look, such as a brown smokey eye, because it compliments other neutrals so well. Despite being a very creamy consistency, it stays in place really well on my lips and doesn’t rub off throughout the day when I eat/drink. As someone who’s constantly on the go, the wearability of this lipstick is very appreciated!

Anyway, those are my top five favorite lipsticks of this season! Some of them are oldies that I’ve had hanging around forever, but others are new additions that I’ve just picked up within the last few months. I hope this has given you some inspiration for makeup looks you can do yourself, and I’d love to hear your thoughts on these lipsticks, too! Do you already own some of these? Which ones are your favorites? Let me know down below.
